The Great Love Affair - A Boy & His BA BA!

Ok, so we've talked about how much Jack LOVES his ba ba, aka blanket - (he is currently rolling around the floor wound up in it as I type). Of course, the true passion he has for his ba ba can not be captured in a picture, but maybe you'll get the idea. When Jack is engaged in a ba ba moment he will lay out the blanket on the floor and then "dive" into it while crying "BA BA!!" with such adoration in his voice. After repositioning it around the room and diving over and over, he will finally wind up the dance with a tumble and tangle in the blanket as he giggles and sucks his thumb simultaneously. It is a hoot.


While we were visiting Nana and Papa last weekend, he discovered that Nana has an afghan with a similar crochet pattern to his blanket and he excitedly pulled it off the couch and proclaimed "BIG BA BA!!" with great delight. He continued to play with both blankets in full blown ba ba bliss during our visit. So, of course I had to dig out my similar blanket when we got home so he could continue to experience the nirvana of having a big version to roll around in. If only we all could be so easily entertained!

So again, we say Thank You! Thank You! to Tiffany for making the original and most loved ba ba. Where would we be without it?? I'm glad he has found something to love that brings him comfort - let's just all hope he isn't carrying it on his first date!
